PAC is an odourless, light cream to white free-flowing powder which readily dissolves in water to form clear, transparent and viscous solutions.PAC having the same molecular formula as the CMC, Polyanionic Cellulose can be described as a water soluble anionic polymer of sodium salt of Carboxymethyl Cellulose ether, available in Low and High molecular weight as well as viscosity and different ranges of purity. PAC is produced under rigid conditions, to specifically have the produt with a certain level of substitution degree. The PAC is mostly used in oil and gas drilling.
