Textile Grade Chemicals Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose SCMC
The addition of CMC Chemical in the printing paste for artificial fiber fabrics serves as both a thickener and an emulsifier, facilitating the homogeneous mixture of dye, high boiling point solvent, and water. Typically, a 1% concentration of Carboxymethyl Cellulose is employed to stabilize the dye suspension against sedimentation and foam formation during storage. Incorporating Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose into the printing paste not only enhances its stability but also significantly improves print brightness.
