Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose SCMC is often used as a thickener, dispersant and stabilizer in the coating industry.Carboxymethyl Cellulose has good compatibility with pigments and can greatly improve the viscosity and rheology of coatings. The interaction between Sodium CMC and other coating components significantly affects the water retention of the coating. With the increase of temperature, the water retention of the coating decreases. With the increase of molecular weight of CMC Polymer, the water retention of the coating increases. Under the same coating viscosity, CMC Chemical with higher molecular weight has better water retention.
